Feather boas are trending, thanks to Harry Styles

It’s a sign of the times.

After Harry Styles sported three different feather boas during Sunday’s 2021 Grammys, the colorful accessory quickly began trending.

According to global shopping search platform Lyst, page views for feather boas spiked a whopping 1,500% in the first 48 hours following Styles’ appearance at the awards show.

The “Golden” singer, 27, first sparked searches when he hit the red carpet in a yellow plaid Gucci suit with a matching face mask and purple boa.

He kept the feathers flying for his performance of “Watermelon Sugar,” pairing a green boa with his custom Gucci leather suit and NSFW banana necklace.

Later in the evening, he changed into a mustard blazer and plaid pants, topping off his boa-filled night with a black version of his new go-to accessory.

But there’s bad news for those hoping to get their hands on an eye-catching purple Gucci boa (the most searched-for piece, per Lyst): The designer scarf is now sadly sold out.

Luckily, there are still similar versions online for newly converted boa fans, ranging from a lavender ostrich feather version on Etsy ($43.95) to a black boa on Amazon ($8.15).

Beyond the accessory inspiration, fans were also quick to point out similarities between Styles’ outfits and other iconic fashion moments.

After many compared his yellow suit to Alicia Silverstone’s iconic “Clueless” outfit, the actress gave the look her stamp of approval.

The “Adore You” singer’s girlfriend Olivia Wilde, 37, compared his outfits to those of other rock legends, seemingly paying homage by posting snaps of Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney after her boa-wearing beau won Best Pop Solo Performance.

Styles, ever the fashion pioneer, is known for his gender-fluid styles and tongue-in-cheek fashion statements.

Now, it seems he can add yet another feather to his cap: boa influencer.
